I hate Marquette, and I hate basketball. No, not really - it was an amazing season overall.
L and Mark are both much improved. It's my turn to be a mess, apparently. I've done something to my knee. It's been hurting off and on for a couple of weeks, but was really bad yesterday. Taking a long walk with Lauren and walking around Lowe's yesterday were not
good ideas, as it turned out. I'm heading to the doctor later today to see what I've done to it.

Lauren is back at day care today, for the first time all week. She was up several times last night for no apparent reason, so I'm not sure she's 100%. Hopefully she'll continue to improve.
The UK game nearly induced a heart attack in me, but ended up being a great game. Now Marquette on Saturday! I love March Madness . . .

OK, I think I have figured out how to add comments. I think . . .
Now Mark is sick too. Lauren is better, though.
I'm testing this system out - it seems like a cool way to keep extended friends and family up to date. I bet Mark will want a blog too. And Carol. Hmmmm . . .
Lauren is sick this week - some stomach bug. I've been cleaning up after her since the middle of the night on Friday. Plus she's really grumpy and clingy because she doesn't feel good. Nothing like a sick 2 1/2 year old to wear you out. The test results from the pediatrician are inconclusive - it could be a UTI, or it could be the virus that's been going around. Got some antibiotics this afternoon just in case it is a UTI. Great, she just loves taking medicine. Can't wait to hold her down screaming while trying to get the medicine down her throat. Lab results should be back on Monday.
Speaking of which, it does not seem possible that Lauren is 2 1/2 already. It seems like she was just born. I told the nurse this morning that I was sorry they didn't get to see the cute, sweet, smart, funny, happy child that we see 95% of the time. She was the exact opposite
of cute, sweet, funny, or happy at the pediatrician's office. Still smart, though ;-)
